RE: How much is too much?

Please return to the topic which is "How much is too much?" which is explained in the opening line of "We are planning a cross country trip with our three dogs in the near future, I have been reading with great trepidation many posts complaining bitterly about barking dogs. which has absolutely nothing to do with one state vs another. RE: Not Getting E-Mail Notification of Private Messages

I've gotten them both yesterday and today so I don't think there is a problem on this end. Subscription notifications are different from private message notifications as they are sent via forum@rv.net and if it is down, they are cached. Private Message notifications are sent via the portal that the sender is logged into so it will vary with each one. I'll send you a test message so you can reply whether you got notification of it or not. RVSnowbird

RE: Where can I look to find an RV to refurbish?

Find out where repossessed rv's go. The best deal I ever got was in 1987 on a 1985 35' Komfort T-Class 5th Wheel as it was stripped. The procedure was to examine the coaches during the week and turn in a bid by Friday. The high bidder is informed on Monday and has 24-hours to come up with the cash. It was new and had never been lived in but stripped and put into a new storage on a pay first and last months rent special during which it couldn't be touched. It was missing the toilet, holding tanks, propane tanks, air conditioner, awning, night stands and all the drawer knobs and pulls. Altogether, approximately $2,500 to put it back together over the next year. Google "repossessed rv" for a few ideas. RVSnowbird

RE: City bicycle riding trails...

Seattle has lots of improved bicycle trails, the Burke-Gillman being perhaps the longest from Kenmore to northwest Seattle. See Seattle Bicycle Maps for the whole system. Portland is also big on bicycling particularly the downtown area. See Portland Bicycling. RVSnowbird

RE: Signature Test

ImRebel, it's not necessary to post again to see your signature as any changes made will show in all past, present and future posts. You need only go to your profile or a recent post to verify your changes. That is providing you have Append Signature checked in your Preferences to show with each post or checked with each post you make. Your second test will be deleted on that basis. Also, signatures will show only once per topic page view in all forums except this one of Forum Technical Support where it will repeat with each post. ....RVSnowbird

RE: Escaping the dreaded colon.

a colon is part of the smiley code and only one is not preceeded by a colon. They are given with the codes in the Using the message toolbar and 4UMS code. RVSnowbird
